Ernest Sewell, CPA is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our growing practice in Bluffton, South Carolina. Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state individual, business, trust, and partnership income tax returns.
- Prepare financial statements and related accounting reports.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting matters.
- Work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop to maintain accurate financial records.
- Review client financial information and identify opportunities for tax planning and process improvements.
- Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and provide exceptional service.
- Assist during tax season while supporting clients throughout the year.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of public accounting experience required.
- Strong experience preparing income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Experience preparing financial statements.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).
- CPA license is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a small, team-oriented office.
