This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading industry specialist as the QHSSE Director, overseeing all Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental programs across the award winning facility.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on QHSSE leader with deep experience in chemical or hazardous materials operations and able to bring subject-matter expertise in safety, environmental compliance and leads by example in the field.

THE ROLE:
• Lead strategic Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environmental initiatives and environmental programs ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
• Serve as the primary advisor on all QHSSE legislation and compliance requirements (OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, federal & state environmental regulations).
• Oversee attainment and maintenance of certifications as well as manage chemical approval, environmental risk assessments, and emergency response readiness.
• Direct QHSSE policy development, risk management programs, audits, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
THE PERSON:
• QHSSE leadership experience in chemical plants, petroleum refineries, or hazardous material storage, with strong environmental and process safety background.
• Degreed professional in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, and additional federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communicator, highly collaborative, and skilled at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
