Reference : Education / (compliant with all continuing education mandates).Preferred : CT CertificateExperience : Required : Hospital clinical experience requiredBasic computer experience required (1-2 years work experience or college level classes)Preferred : One year CT experiencePosition Requirement(s) : License / Certification / RegistrationRequired : ARRT certified and registered (compliant with all continuing education mandates)BLS prior to going to the unit / department and maintained going forwardPreferred : ARRT (CT)Department Position Summary : Under the supervision of the CT Team Leader and / or Radiologist, performs a variety of procedures, including CT scans and invasive procedures and post processing. The position requires independent judgment and initiative in utilization of computerized tomographic equipment to create high quality diagnostic images. Extensive communication with Radiologists required.The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
