III. Job Purpose
The main function of a Reservationist is to properly schedule golf, lodging, and dining reservations with accuracy and professionalism. Reservationists answer all guest questions over the phone and are often the first point of contact for a guest to this facility. When speaking with guests the reservations department will always provide options for a guest and will always work toward meeting all of their needs as an end goal. Often there is a large amount of information that is gathered and must be shared with other departments and the reservations department will effectively coordinate this information with all other departments in a timely manner

Primary Responsibilities
- Schedule all golf, lodging, and dining reservations over the phone.
- Show your enthusiasm with a professional phone voice.
- Never leave a guest without options.
- Be aware of all rules and regulations of Erin Hills and how they affect guests.
- Provide guests with friendly and warm customer service, answer all of their questions, and take a leading role in directing the guests and providing them with all the information they need to make their visit fun and enjoyable.
- Always remain at your post to ensure all calls are answered in a timely fashion.
- Share information with other departments as it relates to guest requests.
- Maintain proper radio etiquette and be alert on radio.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the entire facility.
- Suggest alternatives to guests and up-sell other departments.
- Be a positive contributor to the reservations team.
- Schedule rentals, transportation, and caddies.
- Actively pursue all of our waitlists.
- Assist with all office functions.
- Keep accurate records and process deposits daily.
- Any other duties assigned.
IV. Qualifications
- Position requires ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Be able to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Will be expected to have a clean appearance while on property.
- Name tags and proper uniform clothes to be worn at all times.
- Before clocking out for day, please report to supervisor.
- If you are required to leave you post for business reasons, make sure you have back-up coverage.
