The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting products and materials to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product integrity, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across production operations.

- Inspect incoming materials, inprocess work, and finished products for quality and compliance
- Measure products using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tapes
- Compare inspection results against specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify defects, nonconformances, and potential root causes
- Communicate quality issues to production and management teams
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Follow safety guidelines and quality system requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA, as applicable)
- Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred
- 13 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing (industryspecific experience a plus)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measurement techniques
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, quality management systems)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other quality standards
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures consistently
- Knowledge of inspecting parts using GD&T to meet drawing requirements, using tools like CMMs, calipers, and micrometers.
- Manufacturing or production environment
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
