What are the responsibilities and job description for the HUMAN RESOURCES CLERICAL ASSOCIATE position at Erie Homes for Children and Adults?

RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Maintains agency confidentiality at all times.
2. Answers the agency reception phone and greets people at the front desk in a professional manner.
3. Prepares onboarding documentation for new hires including pre-employment requirements.
4. Maintains files and records to include personnel, I-9, medical, and miscellaneous for agency employees. Scans appropriate documentation into LaserFiche.
5. Assists the Human Resources Department with preparation for benefit and leave mailings to include verification checks for reports and data entry.
6. Assists with mailings for the agency as needed. Operates the postage machine.
7. Develops the employee roster and distributes agency wide via appropriate communication tool.
8. Receives money at the front desk, documents and sends to the Fiscal Department.
9. Assists with the driving motor vehicle database to ensure employees’ driver’s licenses are active and up to date, etc.
10. Conducts employment verification checks for active and inactive employees including completion of government related forms.
11. Prepares and provides managers and other departments with employee information as required (birthday, anniversary, etc. data).
12. Tracks, enters and provides analysis for new hire assessments for strategic planning purposes.
13. Creates and types of forms and other materials, copies, and distributes prepared materials.
14. Other job duties as appropriate and assigned by supervisor.
