Erie Family Health Centers, a nationally recognized top workplace with 14 sites in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our teams! Erie is a prime site for students fulfilling school program requirements for undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate work. Individuals seeking to complete their non-clinical field experience at Erie must have specific guidelines related to their field experience issued by their school. Administrative interns will be assigned a project, with an Erie project lead, relative to their interest and course of study. These internships are unpaid, hybrid opportunities that will include remote and onsite work within our Erie locations in Chicago, Evanston or Waukegan.
Responsibilities:
- Provide data analysis, research, and project coordination for assigned field experience project
- Engage in leadership activities and special projects as assigned
- Present final project summary and outcomes to key stakeholders at the close of field experience
- Undergraduate applicants must be in their sophomore year or higher.
- Currently pursuing a degree or advanced degree in public health, health care administration, urban planning, public policy, nursing, medicine, etc.
- Must be available to complete 200 hours or more over at least a 3-month period
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
