STATUS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
PAY RANGE: $15.00 – $21.00 per hour

This full-time position is perfect for someone with supervisory experience who takes pride in working hard, staying organized, and making sure every event setup is safe, smooth, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
As a Crew Leader, you'll help manage day-to-day operations at the Erie Insurance Arena while leading a team of part-time operations crew members:
- Event Changeovers: Lead and assist in transforming the arena for various events—moving furniture, equipment, flooring, and staging elements.
- Crew Supervision – Direct part-time operations staff during event setup and teardown, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly.
- Maintenance Support – Assist with basic repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general upkeep of the facility.
- Equipment Use – Safely operate forklifts, power tools, pallet jacks, and other tools and machinery as needed.
- Zamboni Operations – Operate the Zamboni for applicable events (training provided if needed).
- Snow & Ice Removal – Maintain clear walkways, entrances, and event access points during winter weather.
- Event Leadership – Act as point-of-contact during events, responding to needs and communicating with other departments and event producers.
- Resource Management: Use time, tools, and people efficiently to support event timelines and ensure safe, effective operations.
- Safety & Cleanliness – Ensure all areas meet safety standards and are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
What We’re Looking For
· Must be 18 years or older
· Must have prior supervisory experience
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Must be able to operate or learn to operate the Zamboni
· High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training is a plus
· Working knowledge of basic facility repairs – plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work on your feet for extended periods
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating first/second/third shifts
· Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and related equipment (training provided)
· Experience with general repairs, custodial work, or event logistics is preferred
· Must be dependable, team-focused, and capable of working under pressure
