We’re hiring a part-time therapist to join our growing private practice in Smithtown, NY.
Part-Time Therapist (LMSW, LCSW) – Smithtown, NY / Hybrid
We’re a growing private practice seeking a compassionate, motivated therapist to join our team. Our work centers around supporting adults (18 ) navigating anxiety, grief (including unexpected and traumatic loss), and major life transitions. We also have a strong focus on working with first responders and value clinicians who are culturally competent and comfortable in this space.
Position Details
* Part-time (with opportunity to grow caseload)
* Hybrid: in-person (Smithtown) and telehealth
* Flexible scheduling (daytime, evening and weekend availability)
* Administrative and billing support provided
What You’ll Do
* Provide individual psychotherapy to adult clients
* Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
* Collaborate as part of a supportive, clinician-focused team
* Build and manage a consistent caseload over time
Qualifications
* LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC (NY license required)
* Experience working with anxiety, grief, and/or trauma
* Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
* Interest or experience working with first responders is a plus
Compensation
* Starting at $35-$55/hour, commensurate with experience
* Increase upon reaching full caseload
* Additional raise opportunities over time
