Eric's Welding is seeking a dependable and skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding and be able to perform quality fabrication and repair work with minimal supervision.

This position involves welding and fabrication for a variety of projects, including agricultural equipment, construction equipment, structural components, and custom fabrication work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, maintains a safe work environment, and can work efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Please note: This position is currently structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor role.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum as required.
• Fabricate, repair, and modify metal components and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Operate welding, cutting, and grinding equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist with field welding and repair work when needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Experience with agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment repairs is a plus.
