The Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Retail Operations) is an integral position, responsible for leading specific sourcing strategies, cost reduction, supply, and risk mitigation in support of our 20 retail locations.

Specific Duties
- Develop effective sourcing strategy for assigned items to reduce cost, secure supply, and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Manage and maintain Purchase Information Records.
- Work with accounting to maintain Purchase Information Records including accurate costing, analyze and correct errors related to purchase orders, billing, and costing.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers to evaluate and report on supplier performance and periodically meet with suppliers to review.
- Provide our retail facilities with information and assistance for all Procurement activities.
- Identify trends in markets that will affect availability, quality, and cost of retail items.
- Provide support for other members of the Supply Chain Department by learning and cross training within the group and fostering a team environment.
- Prepare and process purchase orders based on current Reorder Point System and other needs.
- Monitor inventory reorder points, adjusting as necessary and determining what items can be added to the ROP system at the retail level.
- Provide monthly reporting to management on current pricing and future cost forecasts.
- Other job duties, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in Procurement
- 3-5 years related procurement experience
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP
- Ability to travel, as needed
