We are currently undergoing a major transformation, including the implementation of a new ERP system (Odoo), CRM, and digital infrastructure across North America and Europe.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional accounting role.
We are looking for a high-potential Accounting & ERP Analyst who wants to build a career beyond day-to-day accounting — someone interested in systems, process improvement, and international business.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to accelerate their career and gain real-world experience in ERP systems, international operations, and business transformation.
You will work directly with senior leadership to:
- Learn and support current accounting operations
- Play a key role in implementing our new ERP system
- Help modernize and structure financial processes
- Support future expansion into our European operations
This role is designed for someone planning to pursue their CPA and grow into a senior finance leadership position.
What You’ll Do
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Support general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Work with Accounts Receivable (collections, cash application)
- Support Accounts Payable and vendor management
- Assist with payroll-related accounting and benefit tracking
- Help with sales tax filings and compliance
- Support inventory and intercompany accounting
ERP Implementation (Odoo)
- Work directly with leadership and external partners on ERP rollout
- Help map current processes into new system workflows
- Participate in system setup, testing, and validation
- Support data migration and accuracy checks
- Document processes and create structured procedures
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Help implement better controls and reporting structures
- Contribute to building scalable, modern accounting processes
International Exposure
- Travel to Poland to support ERP implementation and gain hands-on exposure to international accounting processes, including VAT and multi-entity structures
- Collaborate with global teams and support cross-border operations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0–3 years of experience (strong recent graduates encouraged)
- Intention to pursue CPA (required)
- Strong academic record preferred (GPA of 3.2 considered an asset)
- Relevant internship or practical accounting experience required
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Interest in ERP systems and business processes
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $68,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

CPA Support & Incentive Program
Ergomat is committed to supporting professional development and long-term career growth.
The following CPA support program is offered:
- Full reimbursement of CPA exam fees and approved study materials
- $5,000 CPA completion bonus, structured as follows:
- $2,500 upon successful completion of all CPA exams
- $2,500 upon official CPA licensure
- Expected completion timeline: within 24–36 months from date of hire
- Retention requirement (CPA completion bonus):
- A 36-month prorated repayment clause applies from the date of CPA licensure.
- If employment ends before the 36-month period is completed, the bonus must be repaid on a prorated basis based on the remaining portion of the 36-month period.
- Long-term retention bonus:
- An additional $5,000 bonus will be awarded upon completion of 36 months of employment following CPA licensure
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain a passport
- Willingness to travel internationally (Poland)
- Candidates must be able to attend in-person interviews in Lorain, Ohio, starting April 20, 2026
- No relocation assistance is offered for this position
- Degree verification will be required as part of the hiring process
