Job Summary

The Program Manager will partner directly with the CEO to ensure execution of customer programs and strategic internal initiatives. Acting as a central coordinator across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Sales, this role ensures projects remain on scope, on budget, and on schedule, while driving accountability and improving communication across the organization.

Success requires strong business acumen, organizational skills, and the ability to align teams around company objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive execution of assigned programs, ensuring alignment of Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, Sales, and external stakeholders.
  • Report program performance, risk and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring contract compliance, satisfaction, and clear communication.
  • Set priorities, manage escalations, and oversee multiple concurrent programs.
  • Standardize and continuously improve project management processes, including phase-gate reviews, reporting templates, and lessons-learned practices.
  • Proactively identify risks in schedule, cost, technical performance, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal design/NPD teams to align resources and deliverables with program requirements.
  • Support contract reviews and negotiations in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Engineering.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Strong financial literacy, with the ability to model cost/revenue drivers and forecast program performance.
  • Experience managing contracts, change orders, and negotiations with stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain, operations, engineering, and quality systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management in fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional team coordination in manufacturing settings.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of program/project management experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility
  • Aerospace industry experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to Travel as required between sites and customer meetings
  • Comfortable working in both office and production floor environments
  • Must be willing to wear all required PPE

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

· Must be able to work standing for extended periods

· Able to work in extreme temperatures depending on season

· Able to work in a loud production environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
