Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Position Objectives:
- Ensure optimal machine functionality, quality, output, and safety across the production division and other business areas.
- Maximize machine availability through continuous improvement.
- Optimize production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures, NEC specifications, and other applicable standards.
- Drive innovation and reliability through expert-level PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair building and production machinery issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on production machines and industrial trucks.
- Coordinate and supervise external service providers (e.g., annual inspections, press force calibration).
- Manage spare parts inventory and warehouse tasks (Electrical Department).
- Perform electrical modifications and adjustments based on production needs.
- Implement Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) measures.
- Participate in new machine installations and modifications.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and optimize PLC systems, especially Siemens S7.
- Develop and maintain PLC programs for machine components and production line enhancements.
- Conduct OSHA-compliant measurements (NFPA 70, 70E, ESR).
- Supervise and train apprentices in the department.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Document all work using SAP and other internal systems.
Required Competencies:
- Access to SAP, MS Office, and relevant internal systems.
- Authority to manage and direct production area employees.
- Advanced knowledge of PLC systems, with a focus on Siemens S7 architecture and logic.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

- Expertise in Siemens S7 PLCs – programming, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
