The Opportunity The Assistant Director of Residence Life position serves on the leadership team within the department of Housing and Residence Life. Responsibilities of the Assistant Director position include the following: Staff supervision and development (direct and indirect supervision of professional and student staff) Student leadership Resident Advisor Recruitment and Selection Administration and support Crisis response and management Please note that this position requires the employee to live on campus in order to be able to respond to requests for assistance 24/7 while on-call. The staff member will be provided with a university apartment. This staff member will serve as essential personnel to campus crises, as designated by the Dean of Students.
