Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily cleaning operations across all hotel or facility areas
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are consistently met
- Coordinate cleaning schedules for guest rooms, public spaces, laundry services, and specialized areas such as industrial or commercial cleaning zones
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and environmental standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, safety practices, and adherence to company policies
- Assist in training staff on proper cleaning techniques, use of equipment, and customer service best practices
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and custodial resources efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning operations, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management
- Strong staff supervision and team management capabilities with previous supervising experience
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and commercial cleaning standards
- Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer service interactions
- Familiarity with sanitation procedures, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Experience in laundry services and janitorial responsibilities within a hospitality or institutional setting
