Lawn/Landscape Technician

Erath Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. is a full service landscape and irrigation company based in Stephenville Texas. We provide our customers with an array of services ranging from basic lawn/landscape/irrigation maintenance to the construction of new irrigation systems, privacy fences, and landscapes.

Erath Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. is seeking a candidate that is self-motivated and can work under minimal supervision. The candidate must show attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills with clients and supervisors, and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. This candidate will assist with the daily operations of lawn/landscape maintenance including but not limited to mowing, line trimming, edging, blowing, leaf and debris removal, bed weeding, trimming shrubs/trees, and mulch installation. The candidate will also assist with projects such as irrigation repairs, irrigation installations, fencing, and landscape installations on an as needed basis. The candidate must be able to work in conjunction with the supervisor to ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the standards set forth by the company before leaving each jobsite.

• Maintain great communication skills with clients and crew members
• Operate all equipment associated with the lawn and landscape industry
• Clean/maintain equipment through regular scheduled inspections and maintenance
• Notify supervisor when equipment repairs are needed
• Prepare, fuel up, and load all equipment at the beginning of the day
• Address questions/concerns with clients if approached and communicate those questions/concerns with the supervisor immediately
• Unload, clean, inspect all equipment at the end of the day
• Clean out truck by removing trash/debris daily

Education/Experience

• High School diploma
• 2 or 4 year degree in landscape related field is beneficial
• Landscape/Irrigation experience is a plus but not required

Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to lift 60 lbs. consistently throughout the day
• Be available to work a varied schedule (including some Saturdays)
• Pay high attention to detail
• Be able to work in an outdoor environment exposed to weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, humidity, and rain
• Stand, stoop, or bend for 8 or more hours per day
• Be willing to work overtime

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
