Mean Green Lawn & Landscape is seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and landscapes.
Duties
- Maintain various types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and surface irrigation.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
- Repair or replace damaged components using hand tools and power tools.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure proper watering schedules align with overall landscape care.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to promote water conservation.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements based on observed performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organized.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Must have at least 2 years of irrigation experience.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Irrigation technician license is a BIG plus.
