Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the structural engineering team to understand requirements and objectives of project
- Assist in the creation and development of accurate and detailed structural models using industry standard software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Ensure that all structural models adhere to established design standards and guidelines
- Conduct quality checks on the models to identify and resoolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Collaborate with other team members to integrate structural models with other disciplines (i.e. architectural, mechanical, mechanical, etc.).
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and documentation related to structural models.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in structural modeling.
- December - May (can be flexible on start and end date): Full-Time/Part-Time, Non-exempt internship
- ERA recognizes that value of flexibility in the workday. Our full-time schedules are structured around core collaboration hours with flexibility to adjust start and end times based on your role, team and project needs to meet the expected 40 hours.
- Monday- Thursday: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm
- Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Architectural Design or related field.
- Knowledge of structural engineering and principles.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software for structural modeling.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to structural design.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- GPA must be a 3.0 or higher
