Our Structural Engineering Internship Program is designed for students who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. You'll work alongside Professional Engineers, gain exposure to structural design and project work, and build practical skills that will support your future career in structural engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural design calculations under the guidance of licensed engineers
- Assist in preparation of structural drawings and construction documents
- Review contract submittals, including shop drawings and product data
- Participate in on-site observations and assist in field report preparation
- Update and Maintain project specific analysis spreadsheets and technical documentation
Hours
- May- September (can be flexible on start and end date): Full-Time, Non-exempt Summer 2027 internship at 40 hours per week.
- ERA recognizes that value of flexibility in the workday. Our full-time schedules are structured around core collaboration hours with flexibility to adjust start and end times based on your role, team and project needs to meet the expected 40 hours.
General In-Person Core Office Hours:
- Monday- Thursday: 9:00am-3:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am-12:00pm
