Our Role
We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a key role in shaping how we attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent around the world, in addition to delivering broader People & Talent support in our US offices.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, transformation-focused environment; balancing strategic insight with hands-on execution. You’ll bring structure, creativity, and precision to how we represent our brand in the market and how we deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
What You’ll Do
Talent Strategy & Leadership
- Partner with the HR Director and business leaders to forecast hiring needs and design a global recruiting strategy that supports business growth.
- Embed the firm’s values and brand identity in every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Align talent strategy with the firm’s go-to-market priorities; building teams that reflect our evolving services and global reach.
Employer Brand & Candidate Experience
- Bring our employer value proposition (EVP) to life across all recruiting channels, ensuring every candidate interaction reflects our professionalism and people centric ethos.
- Elevate our market presence through storytelling, digital engagement, and thoughtful brand expression.
- Design a transparent, efficient, and relationship-driven candidate journey that reflects Equiteq’s culture and the IB market.
Global Recruiting Operations
- Lead full-cycle recruitment across regions (North America, EMEA, APAC).
- Coach and empower hiring managers on effective, inclusive recruitment practices.
- Use data, technology, and insights to enhance reach, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Monitor KPIs on performance, diversity, and quality of hire — reporting and acting on insights.
People & Talent Collaboration
- Partner with the People & Talent team to strengthen onboarding, performance, and development programs, delivering business partner level support in our US offices.
- Contribute to building scalable, best-in-class processes that accelerate time-to-effectiveness.
What you bring
- 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally within investment banking, consulting, or high-growth professional services.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and candidates.
- Experience managing regional or global recruitment operations.
- Creativity and innovation in building commercially and culturally aligned processes.
- High EQ - approachable, trusted, and collaborative across diverse teams and geographies.

The expected annual salary range for this position in New York is expected to be between $110,000 to $120,000. The offered salary may vary based upon various factors including individual experience and skills.
This role is also eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus scheme, and receive a range of benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k match and a minimum of 20 days PTO.
