Position Overview
Our firm is seeking an associate attorney (1-5 years experience) to work in support of our expanding litigation practice. The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical, research and communication skills.
Responsibilities
· Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, etc
· Conduct legal research, develop case strategy and analysis
· Assist with case strategy and trial preparation
· Attend depositions, hearings, mediations and trials
· Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
· Manage an active caseload with attention to deadlines and details
Qualifications
· J.D. from an accredited law school
· Licensed to practice in NC
· 2 years of litigation experience preferred
