Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory management, and customer service activities within a branch warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining organized inventory and a clean, safe workspace. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to provide excellent customer service through both warehouse and delivery support functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality customer service to support ongoing customer relationships and sales
- Receive, match, and verify packing slips against incoming inventory items
- Record and update inventory information in computer systems accurately
- Prepare and stage items for delivery to customers in a timely manner
- Assist with counter sales transactions when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Restock shelves and organize inventory upon receipt of new shipments
- Prepare customer returns for shipment and processing
- May deliver items to customers and assist with unloading
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and communicate relevant information to internal teams
- Support general warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
Job Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills required
- Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and move items up to 110 lbs as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
- Ability to operate or obtain forklift certification as needed
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with physical demands
Work Experience
- Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or customer service experience preferred
