Job Responsibilities

Analyze sales data to support effective market decisions and promote brand growth.

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships across retail, restaurant, and institutional accounts.

Drive in-store excellence by securing displays, maintaining rack sets, and executing promotional programs.

Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including soliciting new business within the route territory.

Merchandise products and ensure proper rotation to maintain freshness and quality.

Introduce new products and services to expand shelf space and drive incremental sales.

Conduct accurate inventory counts and place product orders using handheld technology.

Utilize order management tools to make independent ordering decisions that ensure fresh, adequate product supply.

Complete daily route settlement procedures, including accounting for products, invoices, and payments.

Safely load, unload, and operate the route truck in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Correctly complete DOT logs and submit required documentation in a timely manner.

Follow all applicable safety practices and support a safe working environment.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Valid driver's license required.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.

Computer proficiency required.

Ability to lift 25-50 pounds regularly and enter/exit a delivery vehicle routinely.

Ability to climb, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel, reach frequently, and use fingers for extended periods.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and make effective decisions.

Sales skills and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Work Experience

3-5 years of experience in direct store delivery (DSD) or direct sales preferred.

Prior route sales experience is a plus.

Combination of training and experience that demonstrates competency may be considered.

Typical start time is between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., with an approximate end time of 1:00 p.m.

Must be able to meet attendance requirements and maintain reliable transportation to the route starting location.
