Key Roles / Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound client inquires across phone, email, voicemail, and Regional Sales Manager (RSM) referrals.
- Route client requests to the appropriate internal team (Credit, Documentation, Legal, Servicing Operations, Sales) and coordinate timely response.
- Conduct outbound outreach on accounts in 0-10, 11–12-day past-due window, working with clients to understand their situation and secure payment commitments.
- Provide payoff quotes, billing information, statement requests, and account documentation to clients accurately and on time.
- Document every client interaction, commitment, and resolution in Salesforce and the servicing system, maintaining audit-ready records.
- Monitor open service items, payment commitments, and pending internal responses through to resolution and confirm closure with the client.
- Escalate signals of client financial stress, operational change, or account-level risk to the Director of Collections with supporting context.
- Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to keep the sales team informed of open client service items affecting their accounts.
- Support clean handoffs to the Collections team when accounts roll into 31 DPD.
- Follow company policies and applicable regulations, including FDCPA, ACH/NACHA, UCC, title practices, and privacy requirements.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Zero to three years of customer service or related professional experience; experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, banking, or specialty finance preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a structured, in-office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams); experience with Salesforce or other CRM and loan servicing platforms preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and commercial lending concepts preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks applicable to commercial lending (FDCPA, ACH/NACHA, UCC, privacy) preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
- Moves throughout the building to access files.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
- Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
