About the Role
Our client, a respected HVAC company in Cranford, NJ, is seeking an experienced and
dependable Senior HVAC Technician. This role requires a strong technical background in heating,
ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with leadership skills to guide junior technicians
and ensure high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in
troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations, and be comfortable working in a customer-
facing role.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps,
and ventilation systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Lead and mentor junior technicians on job sites
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local HVAC codes
• Document all service and installation activities using field service software
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed and system recommendations
• Collaborate with office staff to coordinate scheduling and job updates
Qualifications
• 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential and/or commercial settings
• EPA Certification required; additional certifications are a plus
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar service software is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead by example
