Leasing Coordinator (Affordable Housing) – Wonderful Growth Opportunity
Location: Bronx, NY
Full-Time | Spanish Required
Our client is seeking a highly organized Leasing Coordinator to support our affordable housing portfolio. This role focuses on lease renewals, documentation, and compliance—not renting apartments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and mail monthly lease renewal offers.
- Send required tenant notices.
- Track expirations and follow-up deadlines with accuracy.
- Prepare holdover packages for the Legal Department for all unrenewed leases.
- Manage mail merges and produce renewal documents using Word.
- Maintain accurate records in Yardi and ensure all data is updated and compliant.
- Collaborate with property management teams to ensure timely and complete renewal processing.
What We’re Looking For
- Spanish fluency required (written and verbal).
- Experience with Microsoft Word (mail merges).
- Understanding of lease types, PBV contracts, 610 calculations and Yardi preferred.
- Strong time management, organization, and follow-through.
- Experience in affordable housing, compliance, or property management is a plus.
