About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead a dedicated team, oversee daily operations, and help keep our community safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly.
HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM with occasional weekends required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Assign and prioritize daily work
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and scheduling employees
- Oversee routine and emergency maintenance
- Coordinate renovations and unit turnovers
- Ensure timely, safe grounds upkeep
- Perform hands-on maintenance as needed
- Manage work orders and documentation
- Implement preventative maintenance programs
- Enforce safety standards and practices
- Support Life Safety compliance
- Provide on-call and emergency support
- Control supplies, materials, and tools for cost effectiveness
- Assist with emergency preparedness
Qualifications
We’d love to meet candidates who bring the following:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or trade school training preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or campus-style environments preferred.
