What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Staff position at Epworth By The Sea?
Job Duties include:
General Maintenance
- Perform routine repairs and maintenance on buildings, rooms, and common areas
- Complete daily work orders in a timely and professional manner
Preventative Maintenance
- Assist in scheduled maintenance programs to extend the life of facilities and equipment
- Inspect buildings and report issues before they become major repairs
Grounds & Exterior
- Maintain outdoor areas including walkways, lighting, and general appearance
- Assist with basic landscaping and exterior upkeep as needed
Guest & Team Support
- Respond promptly to guest-related maintenance requests
- Interact professionally with guests and staff while completing work
- Support event setup and breakdown when needed
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensure tools and equipment are used and stored properly
- Report hazards, damages, or safety concerns immediately
Must be able to pass background check and drug test. Smoke-Free Campus.
