Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient order picking, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff in best practices for materials handling and equipment operation.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper mechanical functionality.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution with a focus on order picking and shipping & receiving.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a leadership role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
• Experience using RF scanners and understanding of warehouse management systems is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
