What are the responsibilities and job description for the cherry pickers / Stand up position at EPS?
We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Cherry Picker / Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The operator will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. The ideal candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker and/or stand-up forklift to load, unload, move, and stack products and materials.
- Safely pick and pull orders according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and tracking products.
- Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations for forklift operation and warehouse procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks such as packing, labeling, and staging shipments when needed.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a cherry picker and/or stand-up forklift (required).
- Valid forklift certification/license preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to lift up to [X lbs] and work in varying warehouse conditions (hot, cold, or dusty).
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
