What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at EPS Connects LLC?
Location: Camarillo, CA (On-site)
Comp: $130K–$140K
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Working directly on the manufacturing floor to improve process flow, yield, and efficiency
- Leading root cause investigations (CAPA, 8D, etc.) and driving issues to closure
- Supporting and executing process improvements with measurable impact (scrap, throughput, labor)
- Collaborating with operations, quality, and engineering to stabilize a fast-moving production environment
- Supporting change control and validation activities (as needed)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, biotech, pharma preferred)
- Proven track record of personally leading process improvements on the floor
- Strong root cause / problem-solving discipline (not just theory)
- Comfortable in a high-mix / changing production environment
- Someone who naturally spends time on the floor, not behind a desk
This Role Is NOT:
- A pure Industrial / Process Analyst role
- A data-heavy or reporting-focused position
- A design-only or R&D engineering role
- A people management role
