This Technologist will work in the Power Quality (PQ) group to support lab testing and customer site PQ assessments at various locations throughout the U.S.
The role provides technical assistance and advice to Engineers, Project Managers and Program Managers with minimal supervision. Provides data and analysis and develops systems that impact R&D results and improves internal efficiencies in key areas.
Functions As a Senior Technical Advisor To Various Technical Personnel In The Area Of Laboratory Analysis And Testing. Has Considerable Freedom In Planning Work And Carrying Out Assignments. Determines Methods And Procedures On New Assignments. Performs Engineering Or Scientific Services That May Include But Are Not Limited To The Following (in Compliance With Current Industry And Government Practices)
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.

- Certification and/or Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Education: Associate's degree in electrical engineering or Mechatronics
- Experience with industrial control systems, power systems, and measurement instrumentation is a plus
- 5-7 years prior experience as a technician in at least one of the primary engineering or scientific disciplines.
- Must be able to set up, assemble, install or build components of experimental apparatus or equipment.
- Expertise in an area and significant experience and training related to using specific tools, techniques and processes.
- Willingness to travel; 3 to 4 days per month
- This position offers a competitive salary and is eligible for a targeted 15% annual performance bonus
