EPMA is supporting an Oil & Gas organization their Engineering & Construction department is seeking a highly organized Data Analyst / Project Controls Reporting Analyst / Business Operations Analyst to work directly with the Director of Project Controls. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, building executive-level reports, improving data quality, and collaborating with project teams across the business.

Responsibilities
- Extract, validate, and analyze project data from SAP and other systems
- Clean, organize, and maintain large datasets to ensure reporting accuracy
- Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly project performance reports
- Support executive reporting on budget vs. actual performance, forecasting, and capital spend
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Directors, and Engineers to gather and validate project information
- Support data migration and reporting initiatives within the PROCOM project tracking system
- Create exception reports and identify data inconsistencies requiring corrective action
- Assist with user support, training, documentation, and FAQ development
- Help improve reporting processes and data quality standards across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, data analysis)
- Experience extracting and manipulating data from SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong data validation, cleansing, and reporting experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, 40 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Energy, or Capital Projects environments
- Project Controls or PMO reporting experience
- Experience preparing executive-level dashboards and performance metrics
- Training, documentation, or user support experience
