My client is seeking a dedicated Oncology Account Manager to cover their Tampa territory within their solid tumor division. This role is pivotal in driving sales and establishing strong relationships with key thought leaders and prescribers within the territory to meet the needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively influencing key thought leaders and prescribers within the territory.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing and resolving their needs promptly.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic business plans for key accounts and customers to address patient needs.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Product Promotion: Promote the company's oncology product to healthcare professionals.
- Educational Support: Provide educational support and resources to healthcare providers to enhance product knowledge and usage.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Experience and Skills
- 7 years in pharma; 3 in solid tumor or hematology
- Proven success in oncology sales and managing complex accounts
- Established relationships within community and academic accounts within the assigned geography
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with healthcare professionals
