We are looking for a Fractional HR Generalist to help strengthen our people systems, improve communication, support leaders, and bring structure to HR across a multi-division operation.
Position Summary
The Fractional HR Generalist will support EPM’s leadership team by improving and managing core HR functions across the business. This person will help build consistency in hiring, onboarding, employee relations, communication, compliance, and people processes.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping growing companies put better systems in place, works well with both leadership and field teams, and can bring practical HR support without unnecessary complexity.

Key Responsibilities
- Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening support, and hiring process coordination
- Improve and help manage onboarding for new employees
- Assist with employee relations issues, coaching conversations, and documentation
- Help leadership develop and standardize HR policies, forms, and processes
- Support performance management and accountability systems
- Partner with leadership on communication initiatives and team engagement
- Help ensure compliance with HR laws, employee records, and workplace requirements
- Review current HR practices and recommend practical improvements
- Assist with benefits administration coordination as needed
- Support organizational planning as the company continues to grow
Qualifications
- 3 years of HR Generalist experience preferred
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses, ideally in construction, field service, landscaping, or blue-collar environments
- Strong knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Ability to build trust with both office and field employees
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Comfortable working independently and advising leadership directly
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar credential is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
