This is a full-time, on-site role for a Linux and Windows Developer and Support professional at our Buffalo Grove, IL location. The role involves developing and maintaining software for Linux and Windows environments, debugging issues, and optimizing system performance. Responsibilities include working on Linux kernel development, embedded Linux systems, and contributing to broader software development projects. Additionally, the role will require supporting existing systems and assisting with customer-related technical issues.
- Proficiency in Programming and Software Development, with a strong understanding of software design principles
- Experience in Debugging complex technical issues across various software systems
- In-depth expertise in Linux Kernel development and Embedded Linux environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a collaborative team setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with system-level programming and hardware interfaces is a plus
