We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Part-Time position working every other weekend on the Day Shift. This role provides direct nursing care, care plan oversight, and resident advocacy, ensuring high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Assess residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional health needs and adjust care plans accordingly
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans for long-term needs
• Supervise and support caregiving staff to ensure consistent and high-quality care
• Advocate for resident rights, dignity, and best interests while educating residents and families
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Monitor and document resident condition changes promptly within EMR systems
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and communication
• Participate in infection control, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives
• Promote a person-centered, respectful, and supportive care environment
Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to work in federally funded healthcare programs
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Preferred: Experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing
• Preferred: Familiarity with EMR systems and geriatric care practices
