Housekeeper (1247)

Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice, creating a true community atmosphere. We're looking for a caring, dependable Housekeeper to join our team at Episcopal Homes, where we work together to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. As a Housekeeper, you'll help make our nursing home feel like home-keeping everything tidy, sanitized, and comfortable for the people who live and work here.

Wage/Expected Hours of Work:

• $17.00/ Hourly
• Full time (40 hours/week)
• Monday-Friday & every other weekend

What You'll Do:

• Keep resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas clean and inviting
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility
• Take out trash and recycling and restock supplies like toilet paper and soap
• Follow cleaning checklists and daily schedules to stay on track
• Use cleaning products safely and follow our health and safety guidelines
• Help prevent the spread of illness by sticking to infection control procedures
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns you notice during your shift
• Treat residents with kindness and respect while working in their spaces
• Work closely with a friendly team and support one another each day

What We're Looking For:

• A positive attitude and a heart for helping others
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful, especially in healthcare settings-but we're happy to train the right person
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and with a team
• Good attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
• Comfortable being on your feet, bending, and lifting during your shift
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
