The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of program planning, scheduling, operational excellence, and communication skills developed from experience in both prime contractors and dynamic startup environments. In this role, you will work closely with a talented program management, engineering and operations team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Programs. This role provides critical support in the planning and execution of commercial and DOD contracts.
Responsibilities
As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is:
$127,500—$158,400 USD

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple aerospace/defense programs from initiation through completion.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in compliance with DCMA 14-point assessment and industry best practices.
- Facilitate and lead daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and program status meetings using Agile/Scrum methodologies where applicable.
- Develop and implement processes to integrate planning between ERP, Agile, and Program Planning tools
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, track interdependencies, and manage programmatic risks and milestones.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and external customers to align objectives, resolve issues, and drive program performance.
- Analyze schedule and resource impacts of changes to scope, timeline, or constraints; ensure critical path awareness and adherence.
- Conduct regular training on scheduling tools, best practices, and project governance.
- Track and manage deliverables such as CDRLs across multiple phases and distributed teams.
- Utilize Gantt charts, milestone reports, and performance dashboards to monitor progress and communicate status to leadership.
- Manage configuration control processes and support formal boards, including CCBs and PMRs.
- 8 years of program/project management experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
- Expertise in scheduling tools (MS Project, Open Project) and DCMA metrics, including 14-point analysis and critical path/risk analysis.
- Skilled in Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experienced in leading cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong ERP knowledge (e.g., Costpoint) and experience with enterprise-wide implementations.
- Proficient in SharePoint (including workflow development), Jira, and Confluence; strong data and document management skills.
- Deep understanding of DoD data classification, CDRLs, and configuration/change management principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a track record of improving operations and workflows.
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or equivalent Agile training.
- Knowledge of SharePoint workflows and data automation tools.
- Prior experience supporting classified programs and working across secure networks.
- This position is located in our Torrance facility. Some travel may be required, but it will not be a regular requirement
