As a Mobile Equipment Technician, you will perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a wide variety of heavy and construction equipment — all while adhering to MSHA safety standards and maintaining a high degree of independent judgment.
- Performing advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems in compliance with MSHA regulations
- Applying MSHA safety protocols and best practices on every job site and in every service environment
- Using diagnostic tools and technical schematics to troubleshoot complex issues
- Documenting services accurately and ensuring timely completion of work orders
- Ordering necessary parts from vendors with precision and accuracy
- Delivering exceptional customer service, building trust and loyalty with every interaction
- 5 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment — experience in MSHA-regulated mining or surface operations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of MSHA compliance requirements and the ability to work safely within regulated environments
- Highly developed mechanical background, particularly with various engine types, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems; extensive knowledge of heavy construction equipment
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, advanced repair techniques, and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and demonstrates strong teamwork in a collaborative shop environment
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Ownership of appropriate tools for the trade
- Valid driver's license, high school diploma (or equivalent), and ability to pass background, drug, DOT physical, and MVR checks
- Aerial equipment experience a plus
