Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at our Allentown, PA location. This is a full-time, on-site position that plays a vital role in supporting our daily financial operations including QuickBooks management, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax reporting. Push & Pull Autobody is one of the premier full-service body and mechanical repair facilities in the Lehigh Valley region, specializing in medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks, box trucks, trailers, and personal vehicles. Operating for over 50 years, we take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and exceptional service to every client.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks
• Perform timely and accurate bank and credit card reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Process weekly accounts payable distributions
• Administer payroll and employee benefits management
• Manage sales tax and Federal Excise Tax (FET) reporting and payments
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and support internal reporting
• 5 years of experience in general accounting (reconciliations, payables/receivables)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting software
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with sales tax and Federal Excise Tax (FET) reporting
• Experience in automotive, trucking, or fleet service industry
