About the Role
EpigenTek is looking for a motivated candidate to support sales, marketing, customer communication, social media, and general sales operations in the life sciences research products industry.
This is an assistant-level role with training provided. Prior office, sales or biotech experience is helpful but not required. The best fit is someone organized, proactive, comfortable with professional outreach, and able to follow through on tasks consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer communication, sales follow-up, and general account coordination.
- Assist with sales and marketing campaigns, promotions, and lead organization.
- Maintain customer, prospect, and campaign records in internal systems.
- Help prepare quotes, customer responses, and sales-related documentation.
- Assist with social media updates, basic content coordination, and campaign support.
- Support vendor setup, procurement-related requests, and customer ordering assistance.
- Help organize progress updates, open items, and follow-up tasks.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, customer service, and operations staff as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable sending professional emails and following up with customers or contacts.
- Proactive and willing to take initiative within a structured process.
- Able to learn technical product information, internal systems, and basic business processes.
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, online research, CRM tools, email platforms, and social media platforms.
- Experience using AI/GPT tools to improve productivity and workflow, while still applying independent judgment, logic, accuracy, and follow-through.
Preferred Experience
- Internship, campus job, customer service, marketing, office, lab, social media, or sales-related experience.
- Interest in biotechnology, life sciences, research products, B2B sales, marketing, or customer success.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
