Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of industrial maintenance, and expertise in managing complex systems. This role is vital to ensuring the reliable operation of equipment, adherence to safety standards, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of technicians and coordinate maintenance activities to optimize plant performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, low voltage, and high voltage systems.
- Manage facilities management tasks including building systems, safety protocols, and compliance with industry standards.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to industrial equipment.
- Coordinate with production departments to schedule maintenance activities minimizing downtime.
- Oversee the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety regulations and quality standards.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades or equipment replacements, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments.
- Strong supervisory skills with a track record of leading technical teams effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking.
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial machinery, HVAC systems, and facilities management.
- Familiarity with project management principles to coordinate large-scale maintenance or upgrade projects.
- Ability to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
- Supervising experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred.
