Pay Rate: $32–$37/hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | Full-Time
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Wire EDM Programmer / Operator to set up, program, and operate wire EDM machines in a precision machining environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and capable of holding extremely tight tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wire EDM machines
- Program jobs from 2D drawings and 3D solid models
- Hold tolerances up to ±0.0002" and inspect own work accurately
- Apply strong working knowledge of wire EDM processes
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency on all assigned jobs
Qualifications
- Proven experience with wire EDM setup and operation
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
- Strong inspection and measurement skills
- Experience with AgieCharmilles machines is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Toolroom or precision machining background
- High-mix, low-volume manufacturing experience
