We’re partnering with a leading consumer technology organization to grow a high-performing software engineering team in North Reading, Massachusetts. This team is building cutting-edge, customer-facing technology used at significant scale and is looking for talented engineers across iOS, Android, and Full Stack development. One of the most exciting aspects of this opportunity is the team's approach to AI-forward software development. Engineers work in an increasingly agentic development environment, leveraging AI throughout the software development lifecycle while also building AI-powered features directly into the product experience. We're looking for engineers who are strong software developers first, but who are also excited about how AI is changing the way great software is designed, built, tested, and released.
About the Role
This role is part of a high-performing software engineering team building cutting-edge, customer-facing technology at significant scale across iOS, Android, and Full Stack development, in an AI-forward, agentic development environment that leverages AI throughout the software development lifecycle and incorporates AI-powered features into the product experience.
Responsibilities
- Build cutting-edge, customer-facing technology used at significant scale - millions of users.
- Leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle in an increasingly agentic development environment.
- Build AI-powered features directly into the product experience.
- Design, build, test, and release high-quality software.
- Own software throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Solve complex technical problems in a highly collaborative environment.
- Help shape how AI is incorporated into both the customer experience and the engineering process itself.
- Work on-site in North Reading, MA five days per week.
Qualifications
- Strong professional experience developing native iOS applications (for iOS Engineers).
- Strong professional experience developing native Android applications (for Android Engineers).
- Strong object-oriented software development fundamentals (for Full Stack Engineers).
Required Skills
- iOS Engineers (at least 3 years of professional exp.)
- Strong professional experience developing native iOS applications
- Swift and SwiftUI
- Modern iOS architecture and design patterns
- Experience building, testing, and releasing production applications
- Android Engineers (at least 3 years of professional exp.)
- Strong professional experience developing native Android applications
- Kotlin
- Modern Android architecture and development practices
- Experience building and supporting production applications
- Full Stack Engineers (at least 3 years of professional exp.)
- Strong object-oriented software development fundamentals
- Experience building modern customer-facing applications and services
- Backend/API and frontend development experience
- Cloud, distributed systems, or scalable service experience is highly valuable
Preferred Skills
- Have built and supported production software at scale
- Think deeply about architecture, reliability, testing, and maintainability
- Have experience with or strong interest in AI-assisted and agentic software development
- Have built or integrated AI-powered product features
- Enjoy solving complex technical problems in a highly collaborative environment
- Have demonstrated meaningful ownership and growth within their previous engineering teams
Pay range and compensation package
- Compensation: Competitive salary total compensation package
Salary : $170,000 - $250,000
