Job Opportunity: Unit Manager
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Unit Manager to join nursing & rehab center. The Unit Manager will play a crucial role in leading and coordinating the delivery of resident care services on their assigned unit.
Unit Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned unit, including staffing, resident care, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Monitor resident assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, address concerns, and ensure quality of care.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive work environment and professional growth opportunities.
Unit Manager Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
