Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and janitorial tools.
• Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring proper storage and usage of cleaning detergents and tools.

Requirements

• Previous experience in residential housekeeping or janitorial roles is preferred; experience with commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while managing time efficiently to complete tasks promptly.
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy objects safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with clear client communication abilities.
• Familiarity with outdoor work environments is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping management practices and custodial experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining high-quality standards.
