Role Overview
This individual will own full P&L responsibility for key national retail accounts, with a focus on driving aggressive sales and margin growth. The role is highly strategic and hands-on, with significant exposure to major retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive P&L performance across key national accounts
- Build, develop, and expand relationships with major retailers
- Lead all aspects of account management, including line reviews, assortment planning, and joint business planning
- Develop accurate forecasts and manage inventory flow to optimize in-stock rates and minimize risk
- Partner with Marketing to plan and execute promotional strategies that maximize sell-through
- Leverage retailer data, POS insights, and internal analytics to identify growth opportunities
- Negotiate pricing, programs, and trade spend to improve profitability and market share
- Monitor competitive activity, category trends, and retailer strategies to inform decisions
- Manage and hold rep groups accountable for strong in-market execution
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in CPG sales with direct ownership of national or key retail accounts
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing large retail relationships
- Experience working with major retailers, ideally within Grocery and/or Pharmacy channels
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and comfort working with large data sets
- Solid commercial acumen across forecasting, trade spend, and margin management
- Confident communicator with experience presenting to buyers and senior stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
- Experience in small kitchen appliances or durable goods CPG is strongly preferred
- Must be able to work onsite in Mahwah, NJ
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
