While we may not have an immediate opening at every community, we are intentionally expanding our third-party management portfolio and actively developing EPC-owned Class A communities throughout the Kansas City metro. The Role
As a Leasing Professional with EPC, you are the first impression of the community you represent. You will guide prospective residents through the full leasing journey from first inquiry to move-in, while supporting the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of the property. This is a people-first role that demands sales instincts, professional polish, and genuine care for the resident experience.
What to Expect
Leasing & Sales
- Greet and qualify prospective residents, uncovering their needs and matching them to the right home
- Conduct compelling property tours that highlight the unique historic features and modern amenities of West Bottoms Flats
- Guide applicants through the full leasing process in compliance with Fair Housing requirements
- Follow up persistently with prospects to close leases and drive occupancy
- Monitor and support lease renewals to maximize resident retention
- Track and report on advertising effectiveness and traffic sources
Resident Relations
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for current residents, addressing concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure service requests are resolved promptly
- Assist in planning and hosting resident events that foster a strong sense of community
- Other tasks as assigned
Compensation
- Base pay: Varies, commensurate with experience
- Uncapped, percentage-based commissions on all rentable items leased
- Team commissions for all renewal lease agreements signed
What We're Looking For
- On-site leasing experience, or 2 years in a customer-facing sales or service role with relevant certification
- CALP (formerly NALP) certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of people
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software
- Fair Housing certification is provided and required prior to interacting with prospects or residents
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- A polished, professional presence and a consistently positive attitude
